My name is Vale’, I’m 34 years old, and I live in Annecy, France — the Venice of the Alps — with my family.

Casa Bandera is about so much more than cooking. It’s a little piece of Italy, a touch of Dolce Vita, a legacy of famiglia, and a true expression of the Italian Art of hosting.

It all began in my Nonna’s kitchen, where every dish told a story and every gesture was an act of love. That’s where I discovered that authentic Italian cuisine is about so much more than recipes. It’s about tables that bring people together, shared laughter, and moments that stay with you long after the last plate is cleared.

I had the privilege of living in Bologna, Italy’s culinary capital, and traveling throughout the country in search of its unforgettable flavors. But above all, I discovered that unique atmosphere that can turn a simple dinner into a lasting memory.

In 2025, I had the honor of being crowned 2025 Sage™ French Amateur Roman Pizza Champion, in a competition judged by Simone Zanoni, Michelin-starred chef at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris.

Today, together with my wife Mae and our little Rose, we’ve created Casa Bandera as an invitation into our home: a warm, genuine, and elegant space where Dolce Vita is meant to be shared with family, with a touch of true Italian style.

Our mission is simple: to help you turn your dinner parties into unforgettable Italian experiences, effortlessly. No stress. No spending hours in the kitchen.

A lover of nature, sports, and Italian food, I want to pass our family heritage on to Rose — and to you. So that, even if you’re not a professional chef, you can host with elegance, create a welcoming atmosphere, and delight your loved ones with simple, generous, and truly authentic Italian dishes.
